One of the two distinctive black building boxes that have grown out of the existing building contains an Audio Visual Immersion Lab (AVIL) which is designed as an anechoic chamber.

The Audio Visual Immersion Lab makes it possible to simulate both visual and acoustic signals in different rooms and environments while dealing with basic questions about the interaction between spatial hearing and audiovisual stimuli.

Furthermore, it will be possible to create realistic acoustic scenes for example testing of hearing aids.

Location: DTU Lyngby Campus, building 354.
