The anechoic chamber makes it possible to simulate a reflection free acoustic environment.

A reflection free acoustic environment is highly useful for loudspeaker measurements, noise emission studies, studies of attenuation and diffraction of sound and also for creating an artificial listening environment where all the acoustic properties are determined by the experimental setup.
