For three days in June Danish and German clean tech companies participated in a joined ”Smart Green Home Workshop – where smart grid meets smart appliances” in Munich. PowerLabDK was one of the participants.
The workshop was organized by the Innovation Centre Denmark (ICDK) in Munich - a part of the Danish ministry of foreign affairs. The aim of the workshop was to initiate a dialogue between Danish researchers and Danish SMEs (small and medium enterprises) with German knowledge institutions as well as key industrial players.
As Siemens CT is a key player within the research of Smart Grids the workshop took place at Siemens Headquarter on the second day of the workshop June 14. The workshop was opened by HRH Princess Benedikte of Denmark. Also the Ambassador of Denmark, Per Poulsen-Hansen, travelled from Berlin to Munich to participate in the event.
The PowerLabDK partners see a great potential in cooperating with leading German companies in developing innovative smart appliances and technologies for an energy system based on renewable energy sources.
