Approximately 700 ministers and public servants from EU were gathered in Bella Center the 21-23 March 2012 to discuss how international cooperation on research infrastructures can be more effective in the future.
DTU Provost, Henrik Wegener and Head of Department of Electrical Engineering, Kristian Stubkjær both participated in the conference. DTU’s newest test facility, PowerLabDK, was presented as a state of art research infrastructure and attracted the attention of both the European Commissioner for Climate Action, Connie Hedegaard, European Commissioner for Research & Innovation, Máire Geoghegan-Quinn and The Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry 2011, Dan Shechtman.

The International Conference on Research Infrastructure 2012 was held under the auspices of the Danish Presidency of the European Council and co-organized by the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education and the European Commission.
