Milestone: The DTU Electromagnetic Test Centre has three new test laboratories under contract. The laboratories will be installed from mid-June 2021.
In parallel with the construction of the new building 357 for the up-coming DTU Electromagnetic Test Centre, DTU Electrical Engineering is procuring the new test laboratories to be installed in the building’s test hall.
Following an extensive bidding process started in the fall of 2019, 3 advanced test laboratories are now under contract.
For the DTU ETC Millimetre-Wave Component and Circuit Test Facility, a 3m x 5m x 3m shielded chamber has been ordered from ETS-Lindgren.
For the DTU ETC Millimetre-Wave Antenna Test Facility, a 5m x 5m x 5m shielded and anechoic chamber with positioning equipment and RF system has been ordered from NSI-MI Technologies.
For the DTU ETC Fast Antenna Test Facility, a 6m x 6m x6m shielded and anechoic chamber with positioning system, multi-probe array, and RF system has been ordered from Microwave Vision Group.
For each chamber, a detailed design phase is now in process aiming for chamber installations from mid-June 2021.
