The board of studies noted that Lars is involved in several courses and has a high teaching load.
"Time and time again, Lars has stepped into courses with short notice, and despite this he has never compromised on the quality", is a part of the board's reasoning for the appointment.
At Electro we believe in honoring a very important part of the work we do, i.e. teaching. So as a way to recognize our brilliant colleagues and their teaching efforts, we reward the best teacher of the semester each year.
The best teacher of the semester is appointed by our board of studies, which consists of four student members and four VIPs. The nomination can amongst many things be based on:
- Evaluations examined by the board of studies
- An extraordinary effort during the semester
- Introducing and testing new teaching methods
- Significant revision of a course
